Theo works with animals in dense, noisy households — production schedules, roommates, and people who fly for work. He is practical, a little wry, and very good at naming the obvious thing you’ve been ignoring.
I live in a building with thin walls and a greyhound who has opinions about my agent calls. That is my laboratory.
Animals in cities are overstimulated and under-briefed. They know when your suitcase comes out. They know which days you skip the morning walk. I will ask to see your actual week, not the week you meant to have.
I do a lot of work with people in production and tech who feel guilty and then overcompensate with gadgets. Usually the animal wants the walk you already promised, at the time you already promised it.
City animals, travel, and schedule shock. Languages: English, Korean.
Same day.
“Kit would shut down when I packed. Theo said she wasn’t sad I was leaving — she was bracing for the boarding kennel from two owners ago. I started leaving her with a friend. She eats now when the suitcase is out. I should have asked someone years ago.”
“Straight shooter. Told me Mochi hates the robot vacuum on a schedule and would prefer I run it while I’m home. I did. The hiding stopped. Almost annoyed it was that small.”
